These Hands Rock Band 4 Premiere

Hands Up Music Video Release

Bent Knee's fourth and final music video from 2016’s Say So (Cuneiform Records) is now streaming at https://youtu.be/g3G7M2dHivg. A bit of spring cleaning, if you will. Hands Up was produced by Human Being Productions, directed by Greg Bowen, filmed by Rich Ferri and Jon Stenning, and stars the brilliant Gabrielle Zabinski-Valdera. Special thanks to Zabinski Music Studio, Annie Gjelsvik, Farisa Mulvey, Rebekah Zabinski, and the many hands that made this production possible.

InWorlds MFA VR Installation Debut

InWorlds is a cutting-edge mixed reality performance that invites a volunteer into virtual reality to become a character in a live theater show.  They enter a mysterious world to help a brave and curious creature make sense of a tragedy.  With its unique “mixed reality” presentation, Inworlds lets the audience peer directly into a VR world by covering the entire stage with projected visuals.

During the performance, the audience (and volunteer) goes on a journey through fantastical worlds in a first-of-its-kind interaction between a live actor and virtual reality participant.  Avital Manor-Peleg brings her brilliant masked performance to the stage alongside the volunteer, exploring new forms of social interaction by combining improvisational theater and VR through a story of loss, miracles, friendships and discovery.

Bent Knee LP4 Production Begins

Bent Knee is back in the studio, fine-tuning new material for our fourth full-length recording, coming 2017. We spent an epic summer writing and performing this music in six different countries, and we're all excited about how our collective compositional voice has grown and evolved since the release of Say So. More soon, but for now, it's back to the workshop.

Oh, and did I mention that we've just signed with the international booking agency APA? Expect to see a lot more of the band in the coming year.
